Romantic Writing (First Attempt)

I set my forehead against my angel’s, smiling uncontrollably and squeezing her hands. Her dark eyes locked with mine and I slowly tilted my head forwards, our lips gently brushing before I gave her a kiss, my first kiss, and I was amazed by wonderful feeling. It was a million fireworks, a million red roses, all thornless, a million gifts, and a million suns. I couldn’t think, my mind was clouded and filled with one image : her. It felt like she was the only thing in the universe that mattered to me. Nothing else even held a candle to her, not now, not ever. I realized how sweet her perfume smelled, how soft her silky skin really was against my hands, how beautiful her every feature was, no matter how subtle. She was the most gorgeous woman alive, and I felt like the luckiest man alive. I leaned in for another kiss and another spark, we were both dazed as I wrapped my arms around her and pulled her closer. I was hypnotised by her, and I was intoxicated by my love for her. I pulled her down on the soft, silk sheets and held her body against mine, savoring every bit of warmth as I buried my face in her hair, kissing the top of her head as she pulled herself against my chest. She looked up into my eyes and she looked so happy. Her eyes were sparkling and her cheeks were a soft, rose petal pink. I slid my hand up and down her back, feeling the natural contour of her shoulder blades and backbone. Every moment seemed like it was a gift from Heaven. I’d never experienced a happiness this intense. It was pure bliss, and when she slid up and gave me a kiss of her own, the surprise was exciting. She laid her hand on my chest and kissed my deeper, slightly tilting her head to the side, and my wide eyes of shock slowly narrowed and closed. She broke the kiss and we held each other in our arms, loving every moment of it.
